Steelers’ Najee Harris says, “I’m Just Tired of This S***,” in response to his offense’s shortcomings.
Following the Steelers’ 13–10 defeat to the Browns on Sunday, running back Najee Harris of Pittsburgh seemed to be losing patience with his team’s lackluster play.
Against Cleveland, the Steelers managed just 249 total yards and just 12 first downs. Despite being outgained in each of its ten games this season, Pittsburgh’s defense has been a major factor in the team’s 6–4 record.
The offense has been struggling all year, and Harris, who only managed 35 rushing yards in the Cleveland game, informed the reporters of this in an offensive and profane speech.
“You guys don’t see a lot of stuff that just goes around,” Harris remarked. “I guess I’m trying to say that, man, I’m just tired of this s*** at this point.”
He went on, “You could do two things.” “As you review the record, you might conclude that things are still going well. Alternatively, we may consider the track record and ask ourselves, “How long is that s*** going to last if we keep playing this type of football?” I think to myself, “How long is that going to last?” You may consider it a solid record, but remember, this is the NFL. Our current winning streak isn’t going to help us.
The Steelers take on the 5-5 Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS in an attempt to get back on the winning track.
