Lamar Jackson discusses his thoughts on the Ravens’ AFC Championship loss to the Chiefs.
Lamar Jackson, the quarterback, was one of the players the team needed more from in the defeat despite not having his greatest game. When asked what he learned from the loss, he said that the squad needed to score more points from the drives they were making all game long.
“What did I learn from it? Post points about the board. We were, I think, driving the ball down the field, even though it wasn’t how we wanted to. All we need to do is write points on the board. The game would have been different if we hadn’t made two costly mistakes in the red zone. That is a 21-to-17 ratio, but that is how things are.”
Jackson has repeatedly blamed missed opportunities—including during the game itself—for the Ravens’ defeat to the Chiefs that particular day. This next season, Baltimore will try to make amends, and winning the Super Bowl will be the team’s ultimate goal.
