Bears Exercise During his time as a member of the Arizona Cardinals, the Ex. QB Chris Streveler was well-liked by the supporters.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN NFL Insider, the Bears are trying out Chris Streveler, a former quarterback for the Cardinals. Earlier in the season, Streveler also participated in 49ers workouts.
After going undrafted in 2018, Streveler, now 28 years old, began his professional career in the CFL. Before joining the Cardinals, he played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for two seasons and was the 2019 Grey Cup winner.
Prior to being waived in November 2021, Streveler spent almost two years with Arizona on a future/reserve deal that he signed during the 2020 offseason. He also played for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and Baltimore Ravens.
Only nine NFL games have Streveler appeared in, five of which were in Arizona. As of right now, he’s officially completed 27 of 40 attempts for 231 yards, one score, and one interception.
In 16 rush attempts, he has also gained 75 yards.Because of Bears backup quarterback Tyson Bagent’s illness-related absence from practice on Wednesday, some have conjectured that Chicago may use Streveler as a backup quarterback in the last week of the season.
