Rams RB Kyren Williams’ “Work Ethic” is praised by McVay, who says, “I Love Him!”
The success this year came as a surprise, coming one year after one of the worst seasons in recent Rams history. Los Angeles has won five games in a row after a 3-6 start; the lone setback was an overtime loss to the NFL’s top team, the Baltimore Ravens.
The Rams became the 17th Super Bowl team to miss the playoffs the following season after finishing 5–12 in that campaign. Coach Sean McVay stated, “I love how these guys have come in and I like the consistency that I’ve seen throughout the course of the year.” “However, I feel like we’ve really started to play more complementary, better football.”
This season, the Rams have seen a number of players come into their own, but none maybe more so than running back Kyren Williams.Despite not being the team’s first pick, Williams made a name for himself as the Rams’ best option while carrying the ball early in the season. And McVay is aware of this.
Williams has caught 30 catches for 192 yards and three additional touchdowns this season in addition to 1,057 yards and nine touchdowns from carrying the ball. With 96.1 yards per game on average, he leads the league.
With Williams in the starting lineup, Los Angeles is 7-4; without him, they are only 1-3. Furthermore, the Rams have pushed themselves back into potential postseason contention as they are 4-1 since Williams’ injured return.
“We’re definitely different when he plays,” McVay remarked. Just have a look at it, please. Indeed, there is currently sufficient inventory, energy, output, and overall work ethic. This club has so many guys that, in my opinion, perfectly fit the criteria for what the Rams are seeking for. He is my love.
