Xbox Update for Palworld: Recently Broken Multiplayer
“In the Xbox version v0.2.0.6 that was released today, we have confirmed an issue where multiplayer save data is not being loaded correctly when multiplayer save data from an older version is loaded,” according to a post by developer Pocketpair. “The development team is looking at this issue right now. We regret, but please do not attempt to load multiplayer data on Xbox in the interim.”
The inability to incubate eggs is another documented problem with Palworld, which affects both the Xbox and PC versions. According to Pocketpair, tearing down and reassembling incubators will resolve the problem till it looks into a solution.
Bellanoir, the game’s first raid, was added in Patch 0.2.0.6. It may be played on both “normal” and “extreme” difficulty settings. Several new goods were released, such as the Ring of Mercy, fresh fruit that increases stats, and Ability Glasses that, when worn, show Pal stats. More relaxed building limits, the option to change a character’s appearance once the game has begun, and numerous balancing adjustments are among the other changes.
A “massive, content-packed update” that will be released in the summer, complete with new buildings, Pals, and weaponry, is already being teased by Pocketpair.
Despite its record-breaking start, Palworld’s popularity has declined, but it is still one of the most played games on Steam. To increase player numbers even more, the game was also made available on Xbox Game Pass for PC and console on day one. The Pokemon Company first expressed interest in Palworld’s “Pokemon with guns” style back in January, announcing that it will be looking into Pocketpair’s monster-collecting survival game for “acts that infringe on intellectual property rights.”
