For the balance of the 2023–24 campaign, the 24-year-old defender will be a member of the Minstermen. Danny, a youth international for Northern Ireland, joined the Mariners during their National League promotion run and, having contributed to their cause that season, inked a one-year contract to return to the Football League.
Amos, who was born in Sheffield, started out for Doncaster Rovers, where he played in fourteen league games before leaving in the summer of 2021. When Amos joined Hartlepool United on loan from Doncaster Rovers in 2019, he also accrued seven appearances in the National League.
The left-back impressed during a trial and signed a short-term contract with Port Vale in 2021, making three appearances in the EFL trophy. He moved to Grimsby Town in January 2022 and has since played 66 games for the North East Lincolnshire team in both League Two and the National League.
Danny, welcome to the Minstermen!
