The RS-GPs that Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez would race in 2024 were unveiled by Track house Racing, which had previously announced around the close of 2023 that it will replace Razlan Razali’s RNF Racing team as Aprilia’s new satellite partner.
The team, which also fields entries in NASCAR, unveiled a rather patriotic launch livery in November. Since then, they have continued to race with a similar “stars ‘n’ stripes” theme, with the RS-GPs featuring a dominant red, white, and blue color scheme and support from Steril Harda, GoPro, and SC Project.
At a ceremony in Los Angeles, both Fernandez and Oliveira made their announcements. It is believed that Trackhouse Racing’s role as a multimedia promoter would help increase support for MotoGP in the US, which has been steadily declining in recent years.
Since the late Nicky Hayden’s last season in 2015, the United States has not had a full-time rider in MotoGP.
