In its summer update, Palworld will be releasing four new Pals, out of the “many more.”
There’s a mushroom-capped dinosaur that resembles a little green Relaxaurus; there’s a bird that resembles an ostrich and can launch earth attacks; and there’s a squat, round frog wizard who shoots bubbles of water. But as of yet, none of their names have been revealed to us, so that aspect is still unknown.
Along with high-tech-looking rifles that appear to be new additions in the same update, you can also see a player using an actual flamethrower—not a Foxparks being handled as one with its special Pal ability.
“This is just a teaser of some that you will get to meet in an upcoming update,” Pocketpair’s community manager said in a message to gamers on its Discord service. “We are planning to add many more new Pals!”
Shortly after the game’s release, Pocketpair published their Palworld plan, which states that more Pals, islands, bosses, and technologies would be added. In addition, it has been working on the Palworld PvP arena, which was hinted at earlier this month.
The summer update from PocketPair hasn’t been announced yet, but judging on the rapidity of the release after the reveal, it looks like it will happen soon.
